As the 2024 National Senior Certification (NSC) examinations kick-off, Higher{Education and Training Minister, Dr Nobuhle Pamela Nkabane, has reminded all matriculants to seize the opportunity to make an application for funding with the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS).
"The applying window will shut on 15 December 2024, and you will find not many days left to submit applications. Qualified learners are urged to apply immediately to secure economic support for their post-school education," Nkabane said.
Nkabane extended well wishes to all matriculants, who sat for the National Senior Certificate Exams, with learners writing languages, English and Afrikaans Paper 3.
Nkabane explained this pivotal moment marks the fruits of several years of effort and encourages the Class of 2024 to approach their tests with dedication and assurance.
With Just more than 880 000 candidates, including 727 121 full-time and 155,215 part-time candidates from across South Africa sit for this year's matric exams, throughout South Africa, Basic Education Minister, nsfas login Siviwe Gwarube, has assured the general public of your department's preparedness to administer the tests efficiently.
